FlightBoard – Live Flight Departure and Arrival Status App Reviews

I travel as part of my job and I honestly dont know how I did so before this app. This is one of the top 3 most useful apps on my phone.

Straight forward flight stats. Just what I need.

This app is fantastic, except for one small detail which is missing, it is missing the details on the aircraft being used on certain cargo airlines, such as: FEDEX, UPS, DHL and other random cargo airlines. It indicates all or most of the information on that flight except for he aircraft type. If the aircraft type on those airlines would be show on the flight board, every time a flight is tapped, that would be a great improvement. Please consider it, it means a lot to aviation enthusiasts. Thank you

It would be perfect except it doesn’t auto-update. You actually have to keep scrolling down to keep it updated. I would like to keep this on my tv as a screen saver, but it’s worthless if I have to keep messing with it to see the updates. So close. Maybe they will update this. Kinda a waste of $4 without the auto scroll and update real time

It supports new iPhones as much as it crashes on start.

Excellent to the minute updates. **if its not working because of the latest update, shut down the phone & restart it. Its a common resolution to get updates in sync for any/most app updates.

No issues after update. I have the iPhone 6 with latest iOS updates.

Great app. I was having a problem with it crashing but the latest update fixed it. I have used this app at the airport and watched the app and the board in the terminal. Flight Board app at times updated before the terminal board. Great for on the way to the airport and at the airport saves me the trip to the board. Its great for checking connecting flights quickly. Glad the developer fixed the bug.

Now 2/2/2015, its great again after the new update! Another suggestion: For the airport taxi service use , can you please get the numbers of passengers for each single flight ? I means how many peoples on the each flights, will be millions of taxi cab drivers love your app if you can provide this information! Very nice app !

Ever since the update yesterday the Arrival Time Sort is displaying incorrectly: if you have the app set on Airports Local Time and have the arriving flights sorted by time the time displayed (and sorted on) is the departure time at the airport of origin, not at the destination airport. Please fix this ASAP !! Deleting the app from the iPad and reinstalling does nothing !

It works well enough, except when viewing local arrivals, app displays correct time in portrait view, but it lists, under "arrival", when the flight departed the previous airport, not when it will arrive at the local airport. Made for some excitement the other day. If it wasnt for that I would give it 4 or 5 stars.

Works well for major airports like George Bush in Houston; but is incapable of finding flights at smaller airports like Casper, WY. Useless for me.

This app is great! Super handy for heavy travelers like me. Inversely just as useful for picking people up from airports. Keeping tabs on flights can be annoying, but this app puts it all in a neat little package!

Very handy travel tool. Has saved me a lot of time and stress at the airport. There is room for improvements: allowing the user to set a time period to display, filtering by cities and airlines, etc.

The best app for fly info.

Very slick, very beautiful app. I would like to see baggage claim #s for arrivals (when available).

I have an excellent Internet connection first off, never have problems watching a movie while other activity is going on using other iPads, or an iMac, yet at this very second Flight Track informs me that of 6 airports I checked large and small, AZA, SFO, OAK, PVU, LAX, and finally PHX that "there is no activity at any of these airports", no incoming or departing flights. At 10a the message was the same, only at 1:35p was the app working and by 4:30p it was off again. The only possible fix is to turn my network off then on, delete my copy of Flight Track and load another copy, which I did with each outage. Essentially, I wasted my money, be smart find a free flight tracker and go with it, generally they are rated as high or higher than the most expensive while being more comprehensive.

I dont know if its airport related but Ive traveling and back forth to Atlanta and find that the app doesnt update gate changes in a timely fashion. Im sitting in the terminal now and a gate change that took place almost an hour ago (and is reflected on the terminal monitors) still hasnt reflected here. This also has an impact on the companion FlightTrack app.

This app used to be great but now its really fallen in quality of updates. The last ten flights Ive been on have had incorrect gate information and delays that dont update to the app. In days gone by you could rely on the information in the app. Now the data integrity is zero. Id never rely on it again. I missed my last connection because I ran to gate it told me to go to. If you have a tight connection and a delay inbound, with no terminal screens handy you need reliable info. This app isnt what your looking for anymore. Neither is its parent app flight tracker pro. Same company same story.

Avoid this app. Example just now: flight SV38 IAD to RUH 2 May 2015 arrived on time 1:30pm. Checked one hour before scheduled arrival and this app said 30 minutes late arrival 2:05pm. And this is not the first time. You cannot trust anything stated in this app. No idea if the other similar apps are better.
