Pros and cons of FlightBoard – Live Flight Departure and Arrival Status app for iPhone and iPad

FlightBoard – Live Flight Departure and Arrival Status app good for

This app is awesome and very useful when travelling. However, doesnt always update the flight status
Tested over the holidays at 6 airports. Also used to check relatives incoming flights and because I live near an airport, its fun for my young son and I to identify the planes. Excellent amount of info. Easy to use
I think I saw it somewhere - where is the decoder for the colors of the flight and can you call up only the late flight? This is one great program there isnt a time I go to the airport that I dont use it and most often "sell" it to someone who saw it first on my iPhone!
Use it all the time to check flights. More reliable than a customer service person.
I fly every week and this app is fantastic for allowing me see if connecting flights are on time. Works very well.
I work as a ground service agent for Westjet and air Canada and I use this app all the time for work. It is always accurate and it is what I rely on to prepare the gate for arrival. Perfect app for anyone else doing the same thing I do.

Some bad moments

I trusted the application and lost a flight. Local time in Chile was one hour later than shown on both app and IOS. Had to stay one day longer and pay extras. WARNING: Dont trust it! It does NOT replace the real thing.
At the time of this writing I am sitting in Hong Kong International Airport, experiencing a 3 hour delay. None of the flight delays and cancelations at the airport are reflected in the app, no matter if international or regional carriers. The way it is right now it is useless.
It is difficult to identify flights since the dates of the flight are missing!!! African Airport information doesnt fit to the actual flights conducted!
This App. doesnt show the gate information. For me not useful at all!
In principle a very useful, nicely designed app, now finally with iPhone 6 support... But the app keeps crashing at every launch. Not useful at all.
Not always accurate. And there are so many steps to select current airport that by the time youve encountered a tv screen in the airport with the gate info
